My HDMI out seems to have vanished, no TV seems to detect it. I've tried a fresh install of Windows, switching the HDMI cable, downloading new drivers and even downgraded to drivers that Dell recommend. I've tried it on 3 different TVs, nothing.

The weird thing is, when I used a HDMI to DVI cable to test the HDMI port, it worked instantly on my monitor! Haven't tested the cable on the TV yet but I would expect the same results. So it works with monitors but not TVs?

Only one event may of caused this to happen and that was when I installed an SSD. Other than that, HDMI out port was working fine!
If anyone has any kind of solution, I'm up for giving them a try :D

Thanks! I feel very welcomed ^_^

It did! Me and my brother use to have it setup to watch Movies on his big screen TV and then it suddenly just didn't work.

I believe I have tried both Nvidia and Intel. Still nothing.

I think I did a clean install of Windows 7 but my memory isn't very clear as I've had this issue for a good while! Might be a good idea to give this a try ^_^.

I also had a thought which, I'm not sure if its relevant but, I didn't properly format my HDD (that was the primary hard drive before I got the SSD) so could it be possible that old Windows files on that HDD is conflicting with the ones on the SSD? Just a shot in the dark.

I did see that post and was adjusting my HDMI to see if I could get anything but nada.

Thanks for the help you are providing!
