    Hello All,

I was wondering which are trusted aftermarket laptop battery producers and if it really pays to buy aftermarket battery for the laptops.

    Thanks in advance.

If you need an extra laptop battery, I would suggest that you buy genuine batteries made by the manufacturer (despite their steep price). Unbranded battery packs tend to be faulty in some way; they either don't charge, don't provide power, or lose their charge at an abnormal rate.

I've always had good experience with aftermarket batterys, really. I got one for the laptop in sign, works flawlessly, i get exactly the same out of it as the original when it was new.

You are very true. At the moment I am running on very tight budget and don't have spare cash to put into genuine battery pack so I am looking for aftermarket battery pack, just in case I need it in emergency and power plug not available.
Any recommendation on brand or the store you buy it from..
