    Adding Memory To ASUS N61JQ-X1

    The ASUS N61JQ-X1 comes with two memory slots. How do I access these slots? The default configuration shipped with 4GB RAM. Is the installed memory configuration 2 2GB sticks? I ordered one 4GB stick. Does this mean that I can only upgrade to a total of 6 GB RAM given the existing 4 GB memory configuration that shipped with this unit?

    That is correct. Why do you even need more than 4GB though?
