Hello I was looking at this laptop and it says it only has 64mb of dedicated video memory. I had someone tell me that I could dedicate another 64mb of memory to it. I was just wondering if this is true, and if so how do I go about doing that, because I would really like to purchase that notebook, it has everything I want and everything I need for a very reasonable price. The only thing that worries me is that 64mb X700, and also if I would get this I plan to get another 512mb of ram

Don't think you can add memory to this video card. Sorry.

You cannot add a memory stick to this video card, BUT don't worry about the 64MB, newest drivers (omega drivers at least) activate Hypermemory which steals memory from RAM. That will bring you to 256MB, but since it uses RAM I advice you to buy an extra 512MB and put it in, I believe 4402's come with one 512MB stick so you would have one slot left . That RAM enabled memory insn't as fast as dedicated video memory but it will help for sure.
That laptop is great in features/price...the x700 is an pretty good choice for gaming, you won't regret it.

64MB of memory is not a good idea for the latest games...you'll run into problems. I recommend the MSI-1029 for gaming. I had overheating problems with my TM4402 and games. :(
