I want to install the amd powernow upgrade on my notebook, but i have found out that the Amdk7.sys file is required to be installed. I have downloaded that file, but I do not know how to install that driver.
If somebody could assist me on this one, I could install the powernow soon.

Which processor do you have....If it is the newer ones it may already have Power Now installed. Which version of the installation file did you download?? There are 2 versions posted on AMD's webpage.(depending on the processor)

1.exe version - This will automatically update all the files necessary for installation. Just run the setup.exe file....

    2. zip version - You have to download and extract the files to a folder and use the Have Disk feature of "Install Driver" button in Device Manager to install this driver.
