I'm not really sure how to word this or ask this and I really don't know what to search for, I've looked around a bit but all I can find is stuff for IE8 or something similar. What I am wondering is if there is any way to get windows to remember the sizes of applications, folders, programs etc that I stretch them to? Every time I start up steam and Windows live they are both very small and crunched so I have to stretch them to fit my screen better and it gets old after doing it every day. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You could write some code to start them and modify the windows that way? Actually, that'd be quite easy, and if there isn't an app out there that enables you to do that with a few clicks of a button then hell, I'm writing it and cashing in (well, ok it wouldn't be much cashing in would it really....)

So I would need a 3rd party app to do this? There's no feature in Windows? It seems so basic I don't see why it wouldn't be.

There may be a setting somewhere but it's not one I am familiar with.

Windows XP and Vista are pretty bad at remembering window sizes, but I find that 7 is actually quite good at it if that helps you at all.

That's good to hear, I'll just wait until 7 then, it's not that far away. :)
