    Does anyone know where these can be purchased currently for a reasonable price? The usual channels (newegg, amazon) are all out of stock.

    there are sure more to follow soon as the aspect of 8G catches up...

    I think they are way too expensive. :( . I would wait for the price of 4GB sticks to go down, because they are fairly new. They should go down soon though. :)

    CDW has them but REALLY expensive. I would have to agree to wait...

    Do you really need 8 GB of ram? You might want to put up with 4 until prices drop.

    I managed to get a pair of 4GB Samsung sticks for $150 each. Sounds reasonable to me. The $500+ Crucial kit is too expensive.
