I don't know if there's been a thread about it, but why is no one offering a 160GB 7200RPM HDD yet? I don't mind upgrading myself, but on alot of brands it voids the warranty. Does anyone know when these drives will start being offered as upgrades?

Decide whether you will see a difference before you drop the $$. Most people will not notice a difference. There are several threads on hard drives talking about performance.

    As far as warranty...
The short story is: No, actually it will not void your warranty. The long story is available in my sig.
