This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I am looking for a soundcard that will give me 5.1 surround sound from dvds and such.

    My sound system has an internal dolby digital decoder with an optical as well as 3 3,5mm plugs.

    External (usb) would be nice, but express card should be fine, too.

    Thanks for any suggestion :)
