Anyone running 4GB RAM + 4GB Flash Drive configured for ReadyBoost in Windows Vista x64? Will it even use the 4GB Flash Drive? Thanks!

Maybe! The more the merrier! I got the 4GB of Ram for $65 and they have the 4GB Flash Drives for $13 (-$10 first Google checkout)...so I'm thinking about it!

crap...where'd you get that RAM...is it any good? And is that flash drive any good?...I hear that a lot of flash drives aren't fast enough for REadyBoost.

NewEgg has it for $89 (G.SKILLZ 4GB) + I got a $25 discount. The Kingston drive someone posted here a while ago is what I'm thinking about for the Flash Drive - that should be more than fast enough!@

ReadyBoost is meant for PCs that do not have much RAM, so I highly doubt you are going to see any performance difference.

nope it doesnt do much, hardly a performance increase. ive got 2gb RAM with 2gb SD card, supposedly the readyboost is for those with not enough RAM, 4gb is alot and adding more you really wont notice anything, if not it might slow u down because accessing the usb drive takes more time than the RAM
