    Hello,

I have Asus S46CB 14" notebook (also known as K46CB) which has 24GB SSD cache. I have deleted the second partition of SSD by mistake. I have followed the recovery partition procedure using first method and third option:

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Troubleshooting S46CB

The second partition was unallocated before recovery procedure and it is still unallocated. My computer did not crash when I delete the partition. It is still working properly but I am afraid that it will work slower because of the deletion.

    Disk 1: SanDisk SSD U100 24GB
Operating System: Windows 8 64 Bit

I really don't know what to do and I need your help.

    Best regards

Yeah; the performance will be affected (it was caching the HDD, after all).

I would go through the ExpressCache software and re-enable the caching (or whatever caching software was shipped with your system).

GUIDE Install ExpressCache for SSD Caching - Acer Community (which I found from the link that John mentioned)

I had ExpressCache software and I followed these instructions from the link above:

    ExpressCache Only:

1.) Open an elevated command prompt and type diskpart.
2.) type "list disk" (note the drive number of the SSD).
3.) type "select disk n" (n= the drive number found above)
    4.) type "clean"
    5.) type "exit"
6.) Now that you are back to the normal command prompt, lets navigate to the ExpressCache directory. Do this by typing "cd C:\Program Files\Condusiv Technologies\ExpressCache\"
7.) type "ECCmd -partition" (this tells ExpressCache to use the whole SSD drive)
8.) Your DONE! to confirm that it is working, you can type "ECCmd -info" and ensure that it starts showing you some caching statistics.

I have undivided partition with 22,36GB: http://imageshack.com/a/img836/3477/5ifc.png (I hope that undivided partition will not be a problem)
    I have statistics: http://imageshack.com/a/img853/3230/hc0c.png

I think it worked. Thank you so much.

    Regards,

    Omer

Edit: If you get the error message, "- ECCmd ** ERROR ** exited with error 0x5 (5) - you have not the enough privilege to run this program" at step 7 and 8, run Command Prompt as administrator.
