    hi,

I have a desktop replacement notebook, with 1 VGA and 1 DVI output.

can I connect two external monitors? One via VGA and one via DVI? or will they show the exact same thing?

My graphic card is the ATI Mobility 9700 Pro.

    Thanx

What notebook do you have? Some support dual output and some don't even though there are 2 outputs.

I believe it should work, but need brand/model to be sure. :)

The Mobility 9700 supports dual monitor operations using ATI's Hydravision software. Since you own this card, you should visit the ATI website and read how to use Hydravision and your 9700.

I have the Dell Inspiron 9100, same as the original XPS.
I know for a fact that I can hook up 1 external monitor, but I'm not sure if I can hook up one more. I've been searching online, but I can't find any concrete answers.
