    Hey guys :)

Well I recently ordered a HP dv4-3029TX for a steal, and the basic specs are:
    - i5-2410m
    - 1GB HD 6750m
    - 14" Brightview LED 1366 x 768

having heard a few bad stories about these displays (and being used to a desktop 1920x1080), I was wondering about compatible options of a 1600x900 replacement LCD for this thing? Already checked out the XPS 14 Thread here.

DV4 LCD replacement I could probably manage to manually swap out the LCD following that video :p

    any comments, tips appreciated !

p.s. any ideas if a sub-$100 SSD will be worthwhile/possible in this machine?

If it comes with an ODD and you don't plan on using it, you can easily get away with a $100 64GB SSD and a $100 1TB Samsung 9mm height HDD.

    ^ Didn't think of that :D thanks!
I may hold off the SSD ideas for now, with my budget I'm more interested in the display :)
