Which do you feel I should go with? I know the X1600 is a newer GPU but the X700 has more memory. From what I read the X700 is capable of using the 256mb so I'm really not sure which is better. I plan on gaming but I don't mind gaming on low settings for future games. Do you think a 128mb ATI X1600 will last me for 3 years?

X1600 is faster by about 30%.

Go for the X1600 if you can.

Hotkgon, you sure have a lot of threads. Please try to keep them together . .

The ATI X1600 will last longer than the X700 as well, as it has newer software/components when compared to the X700. Also, some versions of the X1600 have "Hypermemory", which boost the amount of VRAM by take some from the main system's RAM.
