    Hi all!

    I've just bought a GTX1060M.

I have been reading lots of guides and trying to learn all tips due to the software tweaks I might need to do.

First off... The rare and legendary Prema mod blah blah, the Dev seems MIA.. is this mod necessary even today?

Tho, some say its just to 'plug n play' as an usual GPU for a desktop PC, thanks to Windows 10.

My PSU is at 180W, that should be alright to drive the 1060M.

I would gladly take some tips.

    Thanks!

    I'm back!

I manage to find some goodies, latest bios and some Vbios for the Clevo P150.

Prema is anything but Mia, he just doesn't share his work to the public as there are too many bad actors that use it to make money and blow up people's laptops.

Pure dos? What is that? Do you mean pure uefi?

Hello! Where can I find Prema? I don't use Twitter.

Pure dos seems to be something from the older Windows, and they say it is required for the Bios update (Motherboard)

I can't seem to get the Laptop to work optimal with the new 1060M

I can't install any drivers. Even if I manage to mod the drivers the laptop seems confused.

    EDIT:
    Aight then.

I manage to make some support for the drivers, only thing is that my 1060 is a 2060 in the device manager. but GPU Z and 3D mark 11 and HWINFO its a 1060m 6GB.

    I get 10500 in 3d mark 11 and 2055 score in Superposition 1080P Extreme. I think my i7 3630QM is a bottleneck.

    I'm back.

For the one who want to have a shortcut, copy this %NVIDIA_DEV.1F15.67E1.1558% = Section001, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1C20&SUBSYS_52811558

And paste that into the .inf in the nVidia driver package, this will show your 1060 a 2060, but it seems to work great!

Quite cool that the laptop can run Forza H4 in high and ultra settings 1080P, yes some FPS dips here n there, due to CPU drawback, my GPU only works at 40-60% in the game.. but overall, mostly game is at 60FPS.

    True.

GTX 1060GB is still very good gpu. Runs most AAA games at 60fps high 1080P.

There are some that still buys the 1060 6GB MXM and struggles with the driver support on the Clevo P150+ 1060 6GB.
