When is this likely to be out I wonder?

Looking at the throttling issue on the p34w, maybe this version with the 965m or 960m would be more suitable in this chassis?

to be honest even with throttling which i havent noticed during gameplay at stock thermal paste it would still run faster than the 965m. furmark test etc that show that is likely to show throttling because that pushes it more than any game. and if i am getting throttling i havent noticed it enough to consider wishing waiting for a "lesser model" honestly just look at it like this. why not buy the best in the exact same frame. yeah if throttling is going to happen you just need to weight up if you still better off overally. because it might not do it in every game aswell.
notebbok review im sure said it wasnt a big performance drop. and so far ive maxed everything and kept it that way

Hmm, thank you for sharing that - I would of course prefer the 970m, but not if it results in fluctuating performance in game or degrading performance with time played in a session.

There's only a couple of things I'd want to run in the near future anyway - one of them being guild wars 2 (which I'm sure is no problem for any of these machines) and the second is the Star Citizen alpha modules - ok maybe at only medium settings, but as long as it is playable at a decent quality.
