    Hello,

I would like to put the very hard quest for finding a travel adapter for my Aero 15 SA OLED to a positive conclusion. I'm the happy owner of an Aero 15 SA OLED and for travel purposes I would love to scale down the size and weight of the brick. I don't plan to play with my Aero during business trips and as such I would be glad to switch to anything in the range 150w-180w with a weight of no more than 400 grams

I read an archived post where the Razer 165w was proposed as a great option in this sense, but unfortunately due to Murphy law the adapter appears to be of so bad quality that Razer suspended the sales. Hence, an alternative is needed.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have no issues with my Razer adapter, but I've only had it for a couple of months.

I've had the 165W Razer adapter for almost two years now which I use at work and for travel (where I don't use the GPU in any meaningful way) and the original one at home. I've had no issues whatsoever with the Razer adapter and it looks and performs like it did on day one. I do remember that when I wanted to buy it, it was out of stock as well (again, that's way before the linked article) and after checking 'daily' for like a month I went and bought it elsewhere.

May I ask you where you got yours? It looks like it disappeared from the primary market as I can find only used - and very expensive - ones :(

I see, thanks for the input. I will keep an eye on the auction market as something can always come out!
