how to make aero 14 trackpad less garbage
Iv been using the aero 14 for 2 weeks, absolutely love the laptop, chose this over blade 14, but the trackpad is complete garbage, so I tried messing with the stupid elan driver. After changing settings, the trackpad perform a lot closer to surface pro 4 type cover trackpad, still not as good at surface pro 4 trackpad or MacBook trackpad, but its useable now.
Step1. uncheck enhance pointer precision in Mouse Property - Pointer options
this windows pointer precision has some kind of conflict with elan driver, if this is checked, the trackpad skip around a lot more.
Step2. go to Elan - Option - Additional - sensitivity, slide the slider to 4(middle)
the default sensitivity is higher, which makes it impossible to fine tune the position of your cursor
this problem was mentioned in Davelee's review, changing the sensitivity to 4 kinda solved it,
    but its still not good
Step3. Elan - Multi-finger- scrolling, check the reverse
I'm used to the scrolling on surface pro 4 and MacBook trackpad, the aero 14 default trackpack's scrolling is in the opposite direction.
Step4. Elan - Multi-finger- scrolling, slide the slider to the middle
the default scrolling amount is way to little, takes too much effort to scroll through a webpage,
after changing the slider to middle, its closer to surface pro 4 scrolling but not as good
it might be because the scrolling acceleration of surface pro 4 is better, that means when you want to scroll a little it scroll a little, when you want to scroll through the page, and you scroll fast, it scroll a lot

Or you can try this ! Enables precision trackpad with lot more gestures and overall better performance .
    1. Download the .exe http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds120858
    2. Running the downloaded .exe will extract it's contents to a folder ( Default: C:/DRIVERS)
    3. Go to Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Right click ELAN Touchpad under Mice.
    4. Click on Update Driver, then "Browse my computer" , then "Let me pick"
    5. Click on "Have Disk"
    6. Point it to the ETD.inf file , in the directory where you have previously extracted the files. (Default: C:/DRIVERS/WIN/UNAV)
    7. Install it and reboot, and boom you have a much better touchpad with ELAN precision driver and all Windows 10 advanced gestures.
