    SOLVED.

    Hi all, hoping someone can help me out. Bit of a basic question, I hope. I have just got my p35x v3 back from repair, new motherboard. It has 2x liteon msata cards that came as raid 0 config by default. I also have a couple of other drives used for storage/applications.

    I kept the storage devices whilst my laptop was repaired, however I am now nervous about trying to boot for the first time with the wrong bios settings- I don't want to corrupt anything by being in the wrong mode for example.

    I want the msatas as the primary boot up drive, raid 0. Looking at bios menus I have the following:

    Advanced->Satan config->mode selection is currently ahci from choice of ide/ahci/raid
    Boot->boot option #1 is set to p0: Samsung sad 850 pro 1tb. The other option says disabled, but can be selected;
    Boot->hard drive bbs priorities gives list of 4: as follows

    Option #1 P0: Samsung ssd 850
    Option #2 P1: HGST HTS721010A...
    Option#3 P4: LITEON IT LMT-1...
    Option #4 P5: LITEON IT LMT-1...

    I was hoping to see the LITEON as a single entry, nervous about trying to boot with the wrong config. Setting the mode to raid (without powering off) and then coming into the priorities menu doesn't seem to change the list. Grateful for any advice, I don't think I've messed anything up, yet...!

    Cheers, nige

    EDIT: couldn't stand the suspense, I set it to raid and rebooted, hammering F2 repeatedly. Anyhow after a few reboots I got an Intel volume to appear, I.e.. the logical raided drive. Sorted. Phew. Hate moments like this, where you can royally screw up your config. Yes, I've got a backup, but yes, it's never as recent as one would like!
