I'm pretty happy with the X3PLUSv3 except for the fan cycling on and off is very annoying. There doesn't seem to be a way to run it at a low level continually. I have tried all the settings in command and control and they all seem t0 switch it on and off every few seconds. It seems to switch on around 52 degrees. It is very annoying when trying to read on the web in a quiet room (obviously not an issue when playing games). I can live with the rattily keyboard, finicky touchpad and red off axis color shift but this may be a deal breaker. I'm glad I signed up for premier membership at NE so I can return this without a restocking fee. I didn't notice it before updating to the new FD05/F004 BIOS; I wonder if it is related. Anyone else with this issue?

I just switched over to my Razer Blade 14 (870m) to check it's fan noise for reference. It has a very quiet fan that runs continually. While I like not hearing a fan, I'd much rather have it run continually than cycle on and off every minute or two.
