Where do I get a Gigabyte P34 V2 in Canada? Without breaking the bank?
NCIX is sold out and amazon has them for $2000+

I visit the USA sometimes but its not always a good option. I'd like try to the laptop and if I don't like it, I would ideally like to return it. I've been unsatisfied with the y50 and msi ge40 2 pc that I bought recently and almost had to pay a restocking fee on both. NCIX service is garbage btw. ($210 restocking fee on a defective product)

You have to talk with a sales rep, email all the stores (hint: use BCC to send to all of them at once). They will order one in for you if you buy it. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks as they have to get it directly from the manufacturer. I'm getting the P35W v2-CF4 from NCIX.

It says they are currently on pre-order. They can't give an ETA when they don't know when the manufacturer will ship them and they won't order hundreds of copies from the manufacturer if they don't have the demand for them; only a few at a time.

If you really want this laptop, get your pre-order in early and then if you find another source (or it cheaper), just cancel your order.

First of all, thanks for the fast reply.

Im a foreign student moving to Canada at the end of august to start studying at September so i would really need this notebook before my classes. Is it guaranted that NCIX will order one for me if i buy it? I also dont know yet where my homestay will be, did they accepted orders w/o giving address? Can i talk this out with them?
    And what is BBC?

Sorry for so many questions. :(

They can possibly order it to one of the stores and get it shipped to you from there, they have stores in and around both Vancouver and Toronto so you might be able to pick it up depending on where you are studying.
I personally can't guarantee that they will, you might have to pay a deposit or something. It would be best to talk with a sales rep to alleviate any of your concerns. They were accommodating when I asked them to delay shipping it because of my vacation.

'BCC' is a feature used in all email programs where you can add in multiple email addresses and they only see that it was sent to only themselves. It's a good way to send out the same email to multiple recipients without them knowing who else you are sending it to.

I'd try out checking some of the custom-built retailers. Some of them ship to Canada (We do too, but at the cost of $99 shipping, still under the $2,000 threshold if configured correctly). Send me a PM if you have any questions or would like a recommendation!
