What problems of the Aero 15 can't be solved?

So I'm looking at getting an Aero 15 with 1070 and think I have read all I can about it. From what I understand the keyboard is either broken or fairly decent, and as long as it's tested well when first bought it should be ok?
The temperate is also a concern, but I'm willing to put in the work, and iunlock has seemingly had good success with this laptop.

I just want to check though before I settle for certain, are there any problems of the Aero 15 that just simply can't be solved?

The other thing that concerns me is the exterior temperature. By necessity I'm often using a laptop on my lap. The main reason I need the 1070 though is the VRAM, not the performance. Does anyone have any idea how much would I have to limit the performance to bring the external temperature down to high 40s maximum?

Thanks for any info/help you can give.

I dont think the aero 15x can solve P ==/!= NP and the halting problem.

People complain about the back light bleed so you might want to check that.
If you are not using CPU and the GPU at the same time then it shouldnt be a problem. Also undervolt both CPU and GPU can help. I think I get around high 50s to low 60s when using both with undervolt but is mostly at the back

Ok, maybe my wording wasn't the best :)

I'm planning on getting the 4k panel. Do you know if the backlight bleeding is thought to be any better with that?

And I'll be hopefully doing hybrid rendering, so both GPU and CPU will be simultaneously maxed. I'll only be doing this for maybe 5 - 10 min for test renders whilst on my lap, so as long as the case isn't too quick to heat up it won't be a problem. The multi hour renderings will be done on a desk with the laptop propped up etc so that's of less of a concern.

Have you done anything in the way of physical cooling mods on your machine, or just the undervolt?

    It was a joke.

Just undervolt. Maybe you can put a piece of cardboard or the silicon baking sheet between your lap and the top

I realised it was a joke, hence the :) but nvm.

Thanks for your thoughts regarding temperature.

My suggestion is that if you wanna use it on lap, just set your own fan curve and keep the maximum speed of fan lower, maybe to 40%
if you gonna use it on desk, just set the fan mode to gaming or maximize the fan speed manually

When I'm using this thing on my laptop I just use a small cooler. This one is fairly cheap and pretty thin. I game on my lap with it all the time, no issues.
