I have a Gigabyte p35v4 with an i7 5700HQ, 16 gbs of Kingston HyperX at 1866MHz and a Samsung 850 EVO.
My initial install of Windows 10 booted just fine, in less than 10 seconds. However, after fully updating Windows, it now takes around one minute and forty seconds to get to the logon screen.
I do have another hard drive in it but it still boots slow with that drive removed, so it's not searching that for bootable components.
I have tried doing another fresh install of Windows with the same results.
The strange thing is that it spends the majority of the boot at the Gigabyte splash screen. My startup tab in task manager usually states a BIOS time of about five seconds.
I was told to try running Autoruns but I was unsure of what to look for.
Any advice?

go back to Windows 8.1. although WIndows 7 would be better. Windows 10 is a buggy mess.

Try booting from a USB, maybe a Linux Live USB, just to see if there's a problem with the SSD or the SATA port.

try some utilities like hdtune to check the samsung for errors.
I also have a 500 gb samsung 850 m2 ssd but it is storage.
and although it says its healthy it has drops in speed during tests.
I actually have 3 different kinds of ssds in my system. and my 850 runs at 114 f while my crucial bx100 runs at 83 -
