Hi all I need help, I bought the Gigabyte P35W v4 at gentechpc on 7/2015, the laptop worked ok although there's a small white spot on the left of the screen, now when I turn the laptop on, the bottom half of the screen suddenly has a green color over it and the text becomes so blurry in that area, the top half of the screen is still fine though. I tried hooking it to my HDTV via HDMI and the display on the HDTV works fine no problem so I think the LCD of my laptop is faulty. At first I tried pressing the right bezel of the screen and it turns back to normal but after a while the problem comes back now no matter how many times I press the bezel the screen won't come back to normal. Screenshots of the problem:

Of course it's still under warranty so sending it back to Gigabyte service center is what I should do right? But here are my problems:

    1) I live in Vietnam not the US, back then I paid for it with paypal on gentechpc and had it sent to my uncle's house in Seattle then he carried it to Vietnam for me in a backpack so I don't have the original box anymore. Gigabyte has global warranty but there's no Gigabyte service center in my country so I have to send it back to the US for warranty right but can Gigabyte send it back to Vietnam for me after the repair is done? and do I have to pay for sending it back to Vietnam?

    2) I already installed an SSD (Samsung 850 EVO 500GB) to the 2nd mSATA slot, it currently has some games installed on it so should I take this SSD out before sending or just keep it there? And should I backup all my private data and delete them before sending?

Hi, let us help you answer your questions.

We have certified service centers all over the world. If you contact support at http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/support-downloads.aspx They should be able to direct you to the closest service center, instead of sending it back to the US.

We usually advise people to back everything up just as precaution, however if the SSDs are not the problem, they should not be affected by the repair work done.

    Thanks!

I'm thinking of going to Gigabyte service center in Singapore but still have no idea about its exact location, your gigabyte site only shows a phone number and an email address...

and my laptop screen has become worse...
