What a great laptop so far. It's about as small as my xps 12 convertible. Bought it from Xoticpc, they were amazing to work with.

Am a little worried after reading the negative posts so I ordered an extended warranty also...

What program do y'all use to see Fps while in game?

    Thanks

Congrats on u r new laptop. Even I am considering this along with others..but worried about build quality. SO, can you please give u r view's regarding few issues.
What about the build quality ..is it deleicate, especially the lid .. does it flex? when applied some pressure on and did you face any problems when carrying in your back pack. Also, what about the creak noises when opening or closing the lid as posted by LVNeptune.

So far so good. I love the size and the lightness. It fits in my backpack well. I am switching over from an XPS 12. The sizes are quite similar, weights similar also. I don't have any creak noises on my lid. The lid seems very thin, but no issues there. I do have an indent in my keyboard around the E/R/D keys. It's very subtle, but I can tell it is there. I practiced typing a document to make sure it didn't bother me, and it is fine.

So far I really like this laptop. I needed the display port for work, and wanted the 6 gig vram so I opted for the Aorus over the new Razer Blade.

The only issue I am having right now is with trying to play Star Citizen. When I load the wing commander module, it stutters beyond belief so I think it is using the intel card. No idea how to tell it to use the dedicated card. I have the system on high performance right now. Things look great in GuildWars2, I have it running on high everything and very smooth.

I'll be flying out for work tomorrow, so I'll put this thing through the paces. Still installing all of my programs on it.

If anyone knows how to tell which graphics card is being used and when, would love to know. Need to get Star Citizen working ;-p

Figured it out. Star citizen was loading with integrated graphics. In the nvidia control panel I selected the nvidia card and all is well now. No more stuttering ;-p

I also got mine last Friday and I'm loving it so far. I too ordered from XoticPC & I had a good experience with em. They shipped it off in about 2 days after my payment went through. Temps are good and the fans are quiet at their first stage or spinning.
