I installed the lenovo precision trackpad drivers as many people suggested but now when I go to press the left mouse button area, that area acts as a trackpad, so it moves the pointer every time I try to press the left mouse button area. Is there a way to disable this behavior, short of going back to the ELAN drivers?

    Thanks.

With the precision drivers, the full trackpad is sensitive for cursor movement, what you could do is decrease the sensitivity in the trackpad setting from windows.

Thanks. that helps some, but it still happens. I'll try to get used to it, but I wish Microsoft would have a settings option to exclude the bottom of the trackpad from cursor movement.

The only thing I'm really loving about it anyway is the ability to control the volume with a 3 finger move. I don't think that was an option in the original elan drivers :(
