Hi guys, just looking at getting the p35x v3 just not sure about a couple of things and wondering if you could help me.

1- all I can find for sale in Australia is the 1080p version and not the 3k one does anyone know why?

2- if I did get the 1080p version is the screen good and will the battery last longer then the 3k version under normal circumstances like surfing the web ect.

Is there any specific reason you want a 3K display? Are you a photographer of some sort and need to display Full HD images without scaling and still have all the Photoshop/GIMP menus visible additionally? This is one of the few reason, why somebody wants a higher than FHD screen on a laptop, but otherwise...

Generally the battery time is longer with a lower resolution display. I don't know about the visual quality though, but it's not that a higher resolution makes a better picture (at least not at this display size, and not something worthy to consider as "must-have").
