Well I was looking more into the P34 and P35 platforms, and when I visited the Gigabyte.com website they now list P35x v4 and P35W v4. Unfortunately, you cannot click on the links because it says that the page has been moved. I did a screen capture of what I saw. Looks like they are basing the new design on Broadwell (5th Gen).

EDITED: I meant Broadwell (5th Gen), not Skylakes (6th Gen).

Rumor has it that a lot of manufacturers are waiting for skylake in about July to lower temps/power draw to overhaul their products

The current 5th gen (Broadwell) is not much of a leap over the 4th gen (Haswell), as they share the same Haswell miroarchitecture. More OEMs will make the transition when Skylake becomes available as it will be more viable. :)
