Hello everyone
My P2532 notebook is aged and overheating. I would like to replace the thermal paste for CPU and GPU, but can't get the back plastic off. I've taken off the usual back panel, but can't get the rest of the plastic off that's covering the GPU (?) and optical drive.
I've taken out the screws in red, but can pull the shroud off. The MB ports seem to be catching on the left side, and the right side isn't budging. I also dont want to break anything.
I can't find anything beyond accessing RAM and storage in reviews and tutorials. Can someone link me to a disassembly tutorial or tell me how to get the rest of the plastic off?
Thanks!

and just took out the optical drive, and the three screws under it. Now the plastic comes up towards the bottom of the picture, but seems attached to the MB towards the top. The ports seem stuck in the holes on the left.

Nevermind. Eventually figured it out. Major pain in the butt. It's almost as if they don't want us messing with the internals!
(the old thermal paste was dry and caked as hell)
If anyone ever sees this post, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I can try to help.
