Hey everyone, after reading about tons of laptops..I finally bought one!

I finally won a auction on a NEW Aorus X7 V7 4K, here are the specs.

    Aorus X7 V7 “NOT A DT MODEL”

    3840x2160p 4K ips gsync panel
    Pantone display certified
    7820Hk i7 cpu
    2x16gb ddr4 2400mhz G.Skill
    Gtx1070 8gb
    512gb ssd pci-e nvme
    1tb HDD 7200rpm
    $1,700 bucks

I noticed this laptop seems to run on par or faster than a Max Q gtx1080 Zephyrus, pretty frequently.

Anyways, is it possible to use the DT version 265 watt power adapter for better overclocking?

Is this model just like a DT but only a GTX1070 instead?

I’m excited, to say the least!
I thought the Aorus looked the best of any laptop closely following the Zephyrus. But, the Zephyrus was really just ever so slightly out of budget “gtx1080 version”

Did you get your laptop for $1700? Wow, that's really cheap for the specs. I am waiting for volta +8th gen CPU for the New DT model.
