I've got a P35W V3 which I wanted to reset so I could sell it. I upgraded the Windows 8.1 to 10 so now neither the "in Windows" recovery options, nor the F9 recovery would work. This is a common issue for OEMs and Gigabyte provide a fix utility here (6th one down): http://uk.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/utility.aspx?cg=5

I ran this fix and not only did it NOT fix being able to reset the installation it's put a password on the BIOS!! I've been a PC enthusiast for 25 years and have never put a password on a BIOS so I know it wasn't me. I also know the BIOS was fine a few weeks earlier because I was checking the charge USB port settings.

Does anyone know what the default password may be? Is there an easy way to reset it?
