Anyone here have the above CPU? Can you run a 4K video and tell me what the load on your CPU is?

    Mines reading a 90% simply playing a x265 4K video :(

    TIA.

You'd need to run the same file for real apples to apples comparison, since a 4k file can vary widely depending on how it was encoded. With that said, I would expect the GPU to be doing the work and not the cpu; the gpu is better equipped to the task then the 6820 since it has built in hardware acceleration for the decoding (the 7XXX cpus do as well, but as part of the igpu, which is disabled with gsync so you won't get any of the benefit)

My bad. I testing other things also and got my images mixed up. CPU load on 4K is actually between 5 & 15%. Doh.

A like for honesty, a lot of folks would never have copped to it even though we all do this stuff. :)
