    Hi all,

My p34w is starting to come apart on the bottom right part of the screen/bezel. notably, then I open and close the lid it makes a clicking sound. i put on some unsightly tape to keep it together, but that won't hold long term. Ideally, id like to fix this asap.

does anyone know how that part of the casing opens/comes apart? im hoping i can somehow seal it back.

It is stuck with adhesive. The adhesive is letting lose because of getting warm whil eusing the laptop and closing the lid after using the laptop while the glue is soft from heat. A design flaw which they have never rectified.

Thanks rinneh. any idea what kind of adhesive? is it something i (or a PC repair shop) could put on? or is the only option to eventually send it in?

You can find the adhesive no doubt which is strong enough to hold it. But I dont know exactly what type it would be. The macbook pro is constructed in the same way. Maybe you can find the adhesive for a macbook pro instead.
