The battery life of my u2442v is down to about 2 minutes, but otherwise the computer is pretty good, so I'd rather get a new battery than a new computer if it isn't too costly.

Is it possible to replace the battery?

Where would I buy a replacement? Which batteries are be compatible?

    Thank you!

If you can source a replacement, then yes, it is possible to replace it. You'll have to get inside the system, disconnect the cable from the battery to the board, and remove the screws that secure the battery (4 screws, I think).

Any ideas where to source a replacement? Gigabyte themselves has the battery on backorder.
