    That's because the Gigabyte thermal paste is crap. I *repasted* my P34W v3 and it went from burning my fingers hot to "barely Lukewarm".

    Admittedly It was a last resort. The P34 is about to be binned due to heat stress causing the hinge to break off the lower end of the case, 2 months after my warranty expired. I can use it but the lid wont stay up and the cost to repair is more than my insurance excess.

    Thinking of one of these or a P56XT. But the P56XT is £100 more expensive...

    My advice? Don't bother with the P series. A friend of mine has his P35W literally start bending the bottom panel inwards due to heat.
