I am looking into purchasing a Gigabyte P35X but I want to be able to use it to watch movies on long-haul flights. With a battery life on the order of 1.5-6 hours (depending on usage), I won't make it to my destination on one battery charge and not all planes have power outlets in the seat.

I have been looking for a place to buy an extra battery online but I have been unable to find one. Is the battery even removable? On a related note, I can't seem to find anywhere to buy accessories in general, where can I buy a non-US power adapter for it so I can use the device in foreign countries (e.g., 220V adapter)?

I'm hoping some current owners or other internet researchers have come across answers to these questions. :)

The battery is not removable without disassemblig the laptop.
