Hi everyone, I've only been using my gigabyte p34g v2-cf4 laptop for light gaming so I haven't really pushed the GPU hard at all. Recently, I discovered something that may either be a bug or could be a real problem, my GPU boost.
On other websites, I've seen people's GTX 860M display a different boost clock from the default clock. GPU-Z and NvidiaInspector both display my 860m's boost clock as the default clock. (Each program was ran separately)

Now, in Kombustor (with GPU-Z open) I saw the GPU clock up to 1058 from 1020MHz, which MIGHT mean the gpu boost is properly working, but I'm not sure since my desktop's GTX 750 Ti GPU Boost gives out a lot more juice.
Other variables to add to my confusion is the VDDC fluctuating from 1.0120V, 1.0060V, &1.0180V, and the PerfCap Reason kept switching from Util to Pwr and back.

Sensor refresh rate was at .3 sec, fan speed at turbo, bios ver: FB04, smartmanager ver 4.2.8, high performance mode (plugged in)

now the big question: Is this how GPU Boost normally operates in the p34gv2? If not, will a bios update, or some kind of update, fix this?
I'm just hoping to make sure I don't have a faulty GPU, and hoping the GPU isn't throttling itself(might still mean its faulty) because I've seen it go from Performance level 2 to 1 while I'm playing games and I witness the FPS drop, example: starcraft2:HotS on med-high in arcademode plays nicely at 60-80fps, but when performance level 1 comes (and only for a few seconds), the FPS dips hard to 35~ fps. (I also can't time when the performance level drops, my opinion is that it's random)

another thing that caught my eye, while I was on another website, I saw someone else's SmartManager and their last option (next to fanspeed) was something like GPU Overclock (or Boost?), my SmartManager gives me a Calculator option next to the fanspeed. Anyone else NOT have the gpu overclock option in SmartManager?

Looking forward to your replies on this topic, thanks!
