    I have been looking at the Alienware 15 R3 but have got a lot of warnings about thermals.
    I was pretty set on a 120Hz monitor but it looks like for the same price or less, I may have to scrap that.
    I like the look of the 7700HQ 15x, but I am curious if it has the same throttling issues present in the 15 r3? And is it easy to install extra RAM or an m.2?

    If it does, what is the best laptop with a good IPS lower latency display, 7700HQ, 1060 or better for around £1200-1500 that won't thermal throttle (I would be happy to upgrade to an NVMe SSD myself rather than pay an extortionate fee on a stock model)
