    I have never written a review however, today I will make an exception for this Gigabyte Aero 15X V8

    This is review was posted regarding to the 20$ steam card gift

    Firstly, is important to mention that my last laptop was an inspiron 1525 so is an old one, so my first impressions using this laptop are totally awesome, the overall speed is amazing, Windows turn on a couple of seconds,

    The keyboard looks amazing the backlight per key is wonderful even consider the design issue with the right shift key (does it have 2 leds and turn on however the word on the key is misplaced). The numpad is also perfect to have it in a laptop.

    The display is amazing with his almost bezel less looks really good the photos are displayed in an awesome way and I can edit them with a very good color representation, the uhs-2 card reader is a must for photography, I can download my SD card in just a couple of minutes. It’s very sad that most of the laptop came with screen bleeding, per the amount payed for this premium laptop I expected a 0 issues laptop.

    The volume of the speakers was very low when I turned it on the first time, and when I tried to play games I realized that the microphone doesn’t work as expected, after many hours trying to find the real problem I found that the machine should be updated, soon after I have updated the drivers the volume was much better and the problems with the microphone was solved.

    The GPU is a beast; I can play any game at ultra with no problems (Remember my last laptop doesn’t have a dedicated GPU so for me is excellent).

    The chassis of a 14¨ laptop but with a 15,6¨ screen is like a dream come true, the same for the battery it’s really exceptional.

    Not much to say about the weight just 2 kg is perfect to carry to wherever you want. Just beaten by much thinner and much less powerful laptops.

    In conclusion, is an almost perfect laptop if design problems like the right shift key, screen bleeding, updated drivers were not present just after open the box and with the amount of money I have spent with this machine, however it remains a very powerful and portable without the necessity to carry also the charger which is also more heavy than I though.

    I still believe that is an excellent laptop even considering its minor details. At the end the most important thing for me was a very good battery life, with a powerful performance, and the small and light chassis, additionally that it delivers an excellent performance running videogames.

    I can give 4.5 stars due to the common issues
