Copy/Paste the OEMLOGO folder to the root of C:

Right click on the OEMINFO.reg file then select Edit and change the model to match your laptop model.

Then double click on the reg file to merge it with the registry.

Make sure to right click on the file(s) you just downloaded, go to Properties, then hit Unblock from the bottom right as it may be blocked since it was downloaded from the internet, if you don't do this before you run the file or extract it, then it may not install correctly.

What is the model of the screen number? HwInfo64 can report it. The Samsung ATNA56WR15 OLED 4K has awful diagonal grid lines that cuts over the pixels giving a horrible screen door appearance. I assume this laptop also has a Samsung and has the same issues. Unfortunately every laptop with a 4K option seems to have this screen now despite it being terrible due to Samsung's big OLED campaign.



The screen is also not really 4K and is pentile (you can see big blue subpixels are shared

 

It's a Samsung SDCA029 and is the best screen my eyes have looked at.

 

Is that a touchscreen panel? May I know which laptop is this?

Blue pixel has the shortest lifetime when compare to red and green in OLED. If I’m not mistaken, this is the reason why they made blue pixel is relatively larger than red and green pixels.

My panel code is also SDCA029. I'm one of the early adopters of 1st generation AERO 15 OLED. So maybe my display could be consider as the 1st revision of Samsung current 15.6 inch OLED panel. My screen is clear, bright and colourful. Only I think MacBook Pro 15 retina display has better sharpness, brightness and colour accuracy.

 

I have to disagree. I've had the Macbook Pro 15 2019 model and the MacBook Pro 16 Late 2019 Model and while the screens are nice, they are not as good as the Samsung OLED screens. Also, by default, MacOS has a weird scaling level so text and icons don't look as sharp until you manually change the scaling to a 1:1 scaling ratio. Last time I owned 2018 MBP 15 but no chance to do side by side comparison with 2019 AERO 15 OLED. Maybe my old memory played trick on me.

By the way, did you noticed any colour bandings on your OLED display? Especially in gray or any light-ish colours. I hope Samsung fixed or improved this issue in their latest OLED panel.

The original unit that I returned had severe banding.

 

You're both linking the driver name and not the display name.

For OLED I've seen the Samsung ATNA56WR15.6 and ATNA56WR15.0. Both were sold in the ASUS UX564EI (aka Q548EL). The .6 was a 6 bit panel with bad flickering. I did not check it for banding. The .0 was 10 bit and has much better color without flickering. Both screens disappointingly are pentile with 1 big blue subpixel for 2 pairs of pixels. I have very sharp vision and the shared blue is clear to me sitting normally.

Despite being 10 bit, response times are better than 8-bit AUO 60 Hz panels.

The grid I see may be the digitizer. I am surprised though since smartphones don't have a visible digitizer.

 

No banding, they revised it and I can tell you from experience dealing with 10s of laptops every month, this is the best, most color accurate, sharpest looking screen out there for now.
