    Auros 15G YC 3080
    sorry about loads of posts trying to figure this laptop out
    the drivers on the on the gigabyta page are not the latest for intel or nvidia will there be a problem if i download from the respective sites, i do this on my normal computer but not sure if things work the same on the laptop because of the software IE control center

    Most of the newer ones are compatible. Here is my collection for the latest driver for the AERO 15 OLED which should work on yours (don't bother with the Thunderbolt driver since you don't have Thunderbolt on the AORUS)

    GIGABYTE AERO 15 Drivers 1-Jun-2021


    Make sure to right-click on the file you just downloaded, go to Properties, then hit Unblock from the bottom right as it may be blocked since it was downloaded from the internet, if you don't do this before you run the file or extract it, then it may not install correctly due to insufficient privileges.

    To prevent this automatic blocking of files in the future so you don't have to go unblocking every file you download to ensure it runs properly, check the guide in this thread:

    i notice in your downloads the control panel is 21.04.07.02 i have installed
    21.05.12.01
    Also i cannot see any where in control panel that it says touchpad or intel serial IO driver do i not need these on my laptop

    Gigabyte's support is atrocious and they forgot the Intel Serial IO Driver which usually gets downloaded automatically by Windows update if you didn't install it. Install what you want, I listed all the latest drivers in the correct installation order. If you are having doubts, then don't install them! [​IMG]

    At least be appreciative of people who are trying to help you .

    Hi did not mean to offend i am very grateful really , i was just pointing out i could not see them in the control panel , which you have pointed out the reason why again grateful , otherwise i would not have know, i have gone through your list and updated all that were out of date , also i was only pointing out that i have a updated version of control center , i do not know if it was installed , you are correct about there software and driver update being bad i wrote to them about 6 weeks ago and only got a answer yesterday.
    Again thanks for the help i am thankful to people like you that help people like me so we can have a better experiance
