I bought Aero 17 KB (2020) few weeks ago and heard coil whine for the first time 1 week after I bought it. I wasn't surprised too much as I heard it's possibility on aero laptops.
Anway, today I started doing some display recordings with OBS and this coil whine can be heard very loud when watching recording. It's strange since over skype call, other person can't really hear it.
Should I open laptop and try moving microphone or something? Where is microphone located?
(I already opened laptop to change RAM and add one more SSD).
    Thoughts?

As much as It paints me to say it I think a replacement might be in order if its getting in the way of your workflow to the point where you think you have to move the microphone. Call the manufacturer and request a replacement be sent out or if its within your return period think about or research on finding something that doesnt have this problem.

I was playing with filters and noise supression @ -45db makes it ok. Can't do any returns as I bought laptop in Europe and will be in latin america for the next several months. I just hope this coil whine won't mean that some parts are of less quality and laptop will not last long or something (my last Asus N550JV set a bar high as I had it for 7 years without a problem).

FWIW, my Aero Oled had terrible Coil whine for the first 6 months or so and it just disappeared from one day to the other without me doing anything. Fingers crossed!
