Just got my 11800h aero 15 and was waiting on steam to download a game to test it. I walked away for a bit and when i came back it was rebooting. i checked even viewer and i see an error.

    ----------------------------------------------

    Source: BugCheck. Even ID: 1001

general; The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. the bugcheck was 0x0000010e (0x0000000000000017, 0xffff8281138ad000, 0x0000000000000000, 0xffffffffc00002b6). A dump was saved in c:\windows\memory.dmp.

i dont have any way to view it but from googling 0x0000010e is driver related. Did i get a brand new laptop with bad drivers?

Very likely, on my AERO 15 OLED YC, the factory image that came with it is so outdated it had all the drivers from last year's model. I had to uninstall every driver using HiBit Uninstaller then reboot, then use DriverStore Explorer to manually delete every driver leftover then start installing all drivers from scratch one by one from Gigabyte's website except the LAN/WLAN as those are also outdated, I got those from here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...luetooth-drivers.827354/page-11#post-11096345

Make sure to right-click on every file you download, go to Properties, then hit Unblock from the bottom right as it may be blocked since it was downloaded from the internet, if you don't do this before you run the file or extract it, then it may not install correctly due to insufficient privileges.

To prevent this automatic blocking of files in the future so you don't have to go unblocking every file you download to ensure it runs properly, check the guide in this thread:

HiBit Uninstaller is a software/driver uninstaller whilst Display Driver Uninstaller is made specifically for Intel/NVIDIA/AMD/Realtek Drivers.

I would use HiBit for everything else like software or other drivers such as Intel and Gigabyte Utilities and DDU for those specific drivers mentioned above.
