Should we being mostly 24/7 plugged in desk users, excercise our batteries on our laptops?

I noticed my battery was stuck at 92% and not charging any higher. It said it was plugged in and charging but it would not go past 92% full.

I unplugged it, and ran a game on battery for 1.5 hours until it was totally dead.

    Now it recharged to 96%

    Did it again,

Now it has recharged to 100%.

This all seems like silly non sense but, I use to always dis charge my Lipo’s in other items with removable batteries to 3.2V to keep them from puffing and what not and in good shape.

Anyone have this happen? I’m just glad it’s at 100% again.

I think the issue you had was a function from windows where it does not charge the battery if the battery is already at >=90%.

Mine has been stuck at different decreasing values every day and dies as soon as it's unplugged, so it would be nice if this feature could be turned off because I think Windows thinks the battery is more charged than it is.
