Any other Aorus owners annoyed with the AI widget seemingly perma-fixed to the desktop?

I'm looking for a way to remove said widget without uninstalling the AI program itself. I looked for an option in Gigabyte's Control Center and although it lists the software there is no ability to modify settings that I can find.

Just bought the 15G the other day and I love it. The widget, notsomuch.

    TIA.

    So here’s something of interest.

I had the laptop lid closed, effectively putting the comp to sleep. When I opened the lid and woke the PC I saw that there was an AI icon in taskbar. So I right-clicked it and only option was “close” and I selected it. Bam! Taskbar icon AND widget went away!

To get the widget back I had to go find it in Program Files/AI Gaming folder. The only way to get get rid of the widget again was to put the comp back to sleep and then wake it to get taskbar icon to display.

    Very weird behaviour.

Is the AI actually working well for you? I just ended up being frustrated as it would auto change my fan speed and cpu power while I was in a game ending in performance loss and stutters. I just uninstalled it all together.

I've just got the 15G YC, and this is annoying me as well (alongside the issues with 2nd monitors / screens not being found when coming back from sleep).

Is it best to just uninstall the AI tool? I like the idea of it, but no idea if it's any use or not.

I uninstalled that crap awhile ago. Just set your fan speed and max your stuff out. You get way better performance in my observations
