    Hello

I am looking for a new laptop and laid my eyes on the p25w, however the yellow cover is an absolute turn-off for me..... i`ve heard, that the CF4 (black cover) is supposed to come out.... however i cannot seem to find it anywhere over here in europe....

Does anyone know if i t is supposed to be available here ?

    Cheers

Try contacting your local service centre, they might be able to source one for you.

AFAIK there are no stockists of the black version (in the UK)..I searched high and low but ended up getting the yellow..it's not that bad..it IS 'different' and I can see that it may get marked quickly..I am thinking of possibly covering it with some fabric and double sided tape at a later date which won't be so difficult. I have to say though that I would have preferred it without the reflective silver trim. Also, I accidentally knocked it on the edge of a table and it marked the trim already.

What you can do is just order it from the states from XoticPC (example) and then even with the £200 VAT and shipping charges, it comes out cheaper than buying it in the UK - I think nearly £200 cheaper is what I calculated. The only problem u would have is the warranty as it has a 2yr US warranty but only 1yr world. Perhaps you would also need to buy a new adapter or maybe its a switching one I don't know..I would have done this myself but I needed the laptop soon and I was unsure about the warranty situation and some builders charge a huge amount for shipping ($250 was what one quoted!)
