    Hi guys!
Please help me find answers to the following questions about the Aorus X7 Pro:

    1. Will it accept a M.2 PCIe SSD?
    2. If yes, will I be able to boot Windows 7 or 8 from the PCIe SSD?
    3. If I add a third SSD (SATA3 mode) will I be able to RAID 0 all of them?
    4. If yes, will I get 3x550MB/s max data transfer rate?
    5. Considering a RAID 0 of 3x Samsung 850 Pro (SATA3) against a single Samsung XP941 (PCIe): what's fastest on the random 4K operations?
    6. Any problems with overheating?

No. The Aorus X7 pro takes 3 mSATA SSD's.

You can boot windows 7 or 8 from any of the SSD slots. I only suggest RAIDing SSD's of the same types so max you can get is 3x550MB/s data transfer rate.

No problems with overheating after a re-paste. Impossible to calculate Random 4K, but generally raid gives you around 80% x2 or 65% x3. So you'll probabbly get around 200K+ IOPS

    Thank you for the answers!
Will I void warranty if I do repaste myself? How hard is it to be done?
    Any accurate benchmarks available?

I don't mean to thread hijack, but I would like to add questions as well after you answer OP's questions.

    1. How loud is the laptop if you are browsing the web, working with MS Office/Photoshop/etc or watching videos (either streaming or on the computer on VLC for instance).
    2. Have you tried running the laptop on just one GPU if you are off battery?
    3. Do you get better battery life when you run on one GPU since it can't use integrated graphics?
    4. Are there any negatives to the laptop's life/health for doing so and is it easy to turn off one of the GPUs?

I'm asking these questions for when I'm in the office and not gaming. Just doing work or in a conference meeting. I want to see how loud it sounds in a quiet room. I don't need decibels or any measurements like that.

    You're welcome! :hi2:
I'm reading a lot about the X7 Pro but since I don't have it I'll just copy what I read.
It looks like you need to manually disable SLI in order to be able to benefit from Battery Boost[1].
