My Laptop seems to crash when I plug anything into the USC-C port. I'm hoping it's just a bios setting change that needs to happen but I'm not feeling optimistic. I left a message with Aorus but it may take a week to hear back from them. Has anyone run across this problem? When I plugged in a USB-C hub the computer crash saying windows need to fix itself and then rebooted. When it did, it tried again to repair windows and then rebooted. This time it got stuck at the Aorus splash screen and it took 15 more reboots to get it to boot into windows, then repair windows by a system restore point and finally was back up again. Not sure what to do next but I sure could use some help.

hi I just found this by searching for usb-c hub and ironically I have x5v6 as well, with a usb-c hub problem. I do not have a solution for you sorry.

instead, I have a different problem. my usb-c to usb-A hub is never recognized by windows. It is a hub with 4 usb-a ports, and a usb-c plug. I plug it into x5v6 usb-c port, but windows never recognizes it, and no usb-a devices that I plug into the hub work.

I have tried 2 different usb-c hubs. I have tried deleting usb root hub, rebooting, and trying to get windows to recognize but that does not solve the problem. Does anyone know if there is a known issue with usb-c port on x5v6 and usb-c hub?
