Guys, just kind of stuck in picking between this laptops
Aorus X5 V7 has all the features that i want but its a lil pricey to me, im willing to forgo the 4K screen to cut down the price
Gigabyte has most of the features that i want but it has too few USB ports in my opinion

The P56XT overheats so I'd say there's little reason for you to consider it.

    Hi,

in which case the P56XT overheats? CPU? GPU? Do you have one? Or is this related to the NBC test, or to what that´s related to?Mine not even throtthles and while gaming the Fan´s even wont kick in for 100% (by playing BF1 or PUBF).

Undervolting CPU for some mV via throtthle stop pretty helps the device to stay some Kelvin´s (3 to 9 Kelvin) cooler and more or longer silent (upon the headpipe/fan setup here it will bring a lot).

Overall my P56XT is producing less noise under heavy load (no burn in, just gaming maxed out) than my GT72 does which is suprising to me as never expected that =) but it maybe upon batch in case there peopole reporting their devices overheat.

    edit
even recognized the lower pricetag for the X5V7 in the US than in EU, so maybe it´s the better choice (upon price) as you´ve got unlocked CPU and it´s the "top edge" what Gigabyte will have. Also there´s GSYNC onboard and a WQHD Screen < nice < and some "Subwoofers" < upon case usefull if device runs louder =)

    Regards, aVa

I wouldn't call 95*C safe in any sense. It runs at dangerously high temperatures under load and repasting it would void warranty. It's not a machine that is likely to last given the absurd thermals.
