    Arrived today from Newegg. Overall it is disappointing for a $2k price tag. This machine should be about $1,500

    The good:

    * Surprisingly quiet
    * No light blead or dead pixels
    * Physically looks good with small bezels

    The bad:

    * SSD is the old Samsung PM951 which reads at 1,500 mb and writes at 500 mb. Far lower than advertised >2,000mb

    * Screen is awful. Its a very old panel that was used by the Razer Blade 2014 the
    LQ140Z1JW01. Viewing angles are horrendous and the brightness is not high. I'd estimate 280 to 320 nits max. I have the Alienware 17R3 which also has an Igzo panel 400 nits. It is far better than this one

    * The right side of the keyboard is sticking out from the body. It looks like it isn't glued right

    * Trackpad isn't great. Two finger scrolling it often can't recognize and my finger jolts around abit when moving the cursor

    I agree, the panel isn't good since ghosting is noticeable in most games. Have you tried gaming on it yet? If so, what temps are you getting for cpu and gpu?

    I have, temps are amazing. The laptop runs super cool. Also the fan noise is certainly there but it isn't that bad, and definitely not high pitched

    Btw for gaming i found the panel fine, but i wasn't play FPS

    What temp numbers are you getting? I have the x3v6 which is basically the same as yours except the kaby lake processor. My idle temps are amazing when watching youtube, surfing the web as they sit around 28-32 C in normal fan setting. In silent mode when the fans are completely off, my temps are around high 30s to mid 40s. It's when gaming my GPU gets extremely hot which is upto 81-85C but the CPU stays cool around mid 60s to 70s.

    Thanks for these comments, I'm in process of deciding right now and this confirms some concerns I had.

    Hi guys,

    Unfortunately I returned it. The screen and trackpad were very bad for a $2k unit

    Temps were great and noise was bearable from the fans
